Job Title: Mechanic
Job Type: Contract (6 Months)
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Pay: $20/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Hours may vary based on company needs)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to assist with the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of sheet metal parts, equipment, and products. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential for further opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine fabrication and installation processes.

· Lay out and mark dimensions using templates and reference lines.

· Set up and operate fabrication machinery, including shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers.

· Shape materials using anvils, blocks, or other forms.

· Trim, grind, deburr, and smooth surfaces.

· Assemble products using welding, soldering, riveting, bolting, caulking, or bonding methods.

· Install components into supporting frameworks based on blueprint specifications.

· Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with standards.

· Maintain sheet metal products through routine repairs and servicing.

· Promote a cooperative work environment through communication, support, and teamwork.

· Maintain security and confidentiality of FSI materials and proprietary methods.

· Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all assigned tasks.

· Adhere to attendance expectations and maintain a reliable work schedule.

Required Skills:

· Ability to calculate and apply figures such as percentages, area, volume, and basic algebra.

· Strong problem-solving skills in standardized scenarios.

· Ability to understand and follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.

Physical Requirements:

· Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.

· Visual requirements include peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

· Noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
