Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and vehicles. The Mechanic will work with various tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose mechanical issues.


• Perform repairs and maintenance on landscaping equipment, some machinery and automotive vehicles.


• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.


• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.


• Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality.


• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.


• Follow safety protocols while working with electrical systems and heavy machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and practices.


• Ability to read and interpret schematics for various types of vehicles and equipment


• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools.


• Knowledge of electrical systems related to vehicles and equipment operation.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role is primarily performed in an office building with standard office environment and controlled temperatures.  When working outdoors or at a job site the employee may be exposed to construction equipment or other moving objects/equipment; reference job site specifics.  The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk/hear, see, read, and personally interact with others.
