PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mechanic duties, maintain fleet of Drill rigs and support equipment, provide maintenance, diagnostics, repairs on a variety of diesel trucks, drill rigs, tracked equipment, trailers, and support equipment. Perform DOT Annual Inspections and maintain files as required.

Maintain a neat and orderly work area and shop space. Adhere to relevant OSHA and DOT regulations.

Priorities can change in an instant. So, we are looking for people who are adept to changing priorities and being flexible to those changes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmissions and have a clean driving record.


• Reliable transportation and ability to be on time and focus on the job.


• Be capable of regular attendance.


• Have an excellent attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Possess Safe Work Habits and a mature safety mentality.


• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends, and perform mobile repairs.


• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, push/pull, reach, and climb in an unrestricted manner for prolonged periods.


• Ability to lift 60 pounds occasionally, using proper lifting techniques.


• Knowledge of gears and bearings.


• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.


• Knowledge of welding methods and ability to fabricate on occasion.


• Knowledge of DOT FMCSA Regulations.


• Drug Free Business requiring DOT random Drug & Alcohol testing.


• Pass periodic DOT Physical exam and obtain DOT medical certificate.

DESIRED:

• 3+ years relevant experience with repairs of construction type equipment.


• Experience with truck mounted drill rigs and wire rope is a plus.


• CDL with DOT medical cert a plus.


• Forklift and skid steer/loader maintenance and repair knowledge a plus.

COMPENSATION: Minimum $30 per hour, or more, depending on experience, w/ OVERTIME after 8 hrs per day, average 50+ hrs per week (Other companies only pay OT after 40). TOP BENEFITS plus automatic 3% 401k contribution. Paid vacation and holidays after first year. Direct deposit, weekly.

IMMEDIATE BONUS PAID FOR:

- Commercial Driver License;
- Proven experience working around drill rigs.
Wage negotiable depending on experience. Overtime and Excellent Benefits available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
