Mechanic

Duties and responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep all equipment.


• Maintain and upkeep all company vehicles.


• Maintain and upkeep grounds – using tractor and hand-held weed eater.


• Support operators with cleaning and painting equipment.


• Assist in making heavy lifts with equipment.


• Assist superintendents with equipment as needed.


• Assist in repairing tools and ensuring that they are up to company standard.

Critical Demands

• Repetitive forward bending, rotation of the trunk, and flexing of the hips and knees.


• Lifting no greater than 50 lbs. from floor to 6 ft. work surface unassisted.


• Repetitive upper extremity movements.


• Sustained lifting 25-35 lbs. at arm’s reach above head.

Working Conditions

• Work is outdoors or in open warehouse. There is some air conditioning and heating.  Uneven surfaces throughout job site, with sand, limestone, and concrete outside. Numerous trip hazards throughout.
