Mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 Include but are not limited to 

• Be the first point of contact with management when equipment goes down 

• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and equipment checks and repairs 

• Take machinery apart for replacement or repair and adjust oils, fix and replace machinery parts 

• Work on and maintain fleet of vehicles including cars, pickup trucks and large trucks 

• Complete all documentation in a legible, accurate and timely manner 

• Work with industry-specific machines including but not limited to: Grain legs, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, bearings, belting and compressors 

• Follow all safety guidelines 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed 

• Previous mechanical experience preferred 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities 

• Able to work efficiently and competently 

Physical Requirements: 

• Work at considerable heights 

• Working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc)
