Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Diesel Mechanic, you will be repairing issues with trucks’ performance and function.
As a Diesel Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all trucks systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair equipment, preparing cost estimates.
The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with his teamwork, able to explain truck issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trucks coming into our Maintenance shop.
- Carry out routine trucks' maintenance tasks such as oil changes, and brake pad replacements
- Conduct in-depth trucks inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
- Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
- Ensure a high level of service satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required
- Associate degree or completion of Mechanical Diesel service training program is preferred.
- Knowledge in Motor Diesel (DD15 /CUMMINS preferible),Gas Emission System, Diagnose,Electornic Automatic Transmissions DT12
