Mechanic Fleet Manager

Description

Our Jaffrey corporate headquarters is searching for a Mechanic Fleet Manager.

· Responsible for all trucks, forklifts and other mechanical equipment.

· Schedule in-house or outsourced repairs as necessary.

· Ensure preventive maintenance and regular service work are being performed at necessary intervals.

· Perform roadside and remote repairs and rescue as needed. At times this will be required outside of regular business hours.

· Arrange for towing when necessary.

· Coordination and scheduling of annual vehicle inspections.

· Certified to perform annual vehicle inspections.

· Cost effectively limit down time on out of service vehicles.

· Install and replace GPS units as needed.

· Learn to utilize Geotab Fleet Tracking for service, repair, record keeping, etc.

· Maintain reasonable inventory levels on commonly used service kits, parts and supplies.

· Other special projects identified by management.

· Job Summary subject to change.

· Keep garages and office areas neat and clean. 

· Keep other mechanics on task as necessary to perform all functions above.

· Must be a good communicator.
