Mechanic (full-time, $31.00-$35.00/hour)

JOB SUMMARY: Our Fleet Services Department consists of our Fleet Supervisor and two full-time Mechanics. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on our fleet of trucks, cars, buses, trailers, tractors, mowers, small equipment, and diesel engines. Additional responsibilities include ordering and managing parts inventory, as well as other duties as assigned.

LOCATION: Fleet Maintenance Building, 610 Morse Ave, Schaumburg, IL

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a valid Illinois driver’s license. CDL with a passenger endorsement is required or must be obtained within the first year of employment. Journeyman level mechanic with prior experience in fleet repair and/or maintenance is required. NOTE: Applicants must possess requisite physical ability to perform the essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodations.

PAY, BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time, year-round non-exempt (hourly) position. Work schedule is generally Monday - Friday from 6:45am - 3:15pm. Target hiring range is $31.00-$35.00 per hour. Our full-time benefits package includes:
