JOB DESCRIPTION



POSITION: MECHANIC – HEAVY EQUIPMENT


LOCATION: AUBURN HILLS, MI



OBJECTIVE



The ideal candidate enjoys working on electrical, hydraulics, engine diagnostics on a variety of equipment. The function of this position is to diagnose and repair CCC owned heavy construction equipment and smaller pieces as well. This is a non-union position, located at our Yard/Shop in Auburn Hills. 



KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES




This position will be tasked with the diagnosis and repair of the following equipment. Please note- the below list is not intended to be required expertise. Similar experience and training will be considered. 




  • CAT and other construction equipment

  • Hyster and other similar lift trucks

  • Broderson cranes

  • Skytrack lifts

  • LP, gas and diesel engines

  • Personnel (golf cart, side-by-side) electrical systems

  • Hydraulic systems




REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 




  • Understanding of how to diagnose and solve problems.

  • The ability to work independently.

  • Complete paperwork thoroughly and accurately.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization skills..

  • Strong communication skills via email, text messaging, and other software platforms required to diagnose equipment.

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Have your own basic tools. CCC provides specialty tools.

  • Chauffeurs license and current medical card preferred- CCC will arrange if needed.

  • Participate in our drug screen program.
