Mechanic Helper

A. Duda & Sons, Inc. is hiring a Mechanic Helper to support our Lake Placid Sod team. This is a hands-on role assisting mechanics and equipment operators in maintaining and repairing machinery used in sod production. If you're mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to work in a team-driven environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and light repairs on tractors, mowers, harvesters, and other sod equipment
• Clean, inspect, and lubricate machinery components
• Support mechanics with diagnostics and part replacements
• Help manage inventory and organize the workshop
• Assist with equipment setup and basic troubleshooting in the field
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
• Help document repairs and equipment usage
