Mechanic Technician

Job Description

We are looking for professionals committed to their growth and interested in long-term work in the industry as Mechanic Technicians in highly modernized facilities.

      Note: This position is as an OPERATOR, not a supervisory role.

• Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on agricultural machinery including tractors, irrigation pumps, conveyors, seeders, harvesters, and sprayers 
  

• Maintain and service greenhouse systems such as fans, heaters, cooling pads, shade cloth mechanisms, and automated vents 
  

• Maintain and repair drip irrigation lines, sprinklers, pumps, valves, and timers 
  

• Use MIG, arc, or TIG welding to repair metal frames, carts, greenhouse structures, and custom equipment 
  

• Respond to urgent maintenance requests to minimize production downtime 
  

• Keep accurate maintenance records, including service dates, part replacements, and repair costs 
  

• Inspect and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems 
  

• Work closely with farm crews, greenhouse supervisors, and other departments to coordinate repair schedules 
  

Working Conditions:

• Usual work hours: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  

• Average of 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period
  

• One day off per week
  

• Work locations: South Carolina, Texas, Kansas, among others
  

• Extreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer)

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, a TN work visa for the United States is required. Therefore, it is essential to meet the following requirements:

• Be of Mexican nationality
  

• Hold a university degree and professional license in Agricultural Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, or a related field
  

• Possess a Mexican passport valid for at least 1 year
  

• Have a valid Mexican driver’s license
