The Mechanical and Plumbing Construction Field Superintendent provides oversight of field supervisors. The Mechanical and Plumbing Construction Field Superintendent also coordinates manpower resources on multiple field projects. He/She will ensure that the field staff is performing work in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while meeting or exceeding the department’s quality and customer service standards and demonstrating the company’s core values.

This position will lead a team of varying sizes to finish the project in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining customer and vendor relationships through communication, displaying a professional company image, and promoting companies core values.

· 25% - Staff oversight: Planning and allocation of manpower resources, coordination with construction project managers to ensure all needs are met, oversight of field supervisor “look-ahead” planning, monitor and measure daily and weekly job progress to ensure adequate progress.

· 25%-Administrative duties: Ensure employee time is accurate and turned in on time, assist with manpower coordination and process requests (48-hour notification preferred), engage goal setting and evaluation of field staff, execute and enforce company policies.

· 20% - Workforce Development: Coach and mentor field supervisors to improve supervising of field staff and projects, increase efficiency with leading field staff, identify areas of improvement needed for field staff, coordinate areas of improvement with HR or Training Department, assist with implementation of added skills training. 

· 10%- Job Closeout: Collaborate with construction project managers and safety director regarding project performance for areas of improvement.

· 10%- Company Policy Enforcement: Help to ensure safe job sites and maintain company assets (tools, equipment, vehicles, etc..). Promote company Core Values and policies.

 · 10% - Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum of (6) years of experience in a field relative to the position (construction or service)

· Possession of valid driver’s license with a good record of driving

· Knowledge of applicable industry specific Code, OSHA guidelines and safety requirements, and safe work practices. 

· Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Journeyman or Master License in relative field

· 4 or more years of experience as a project foreman
