Mechanical Assembler
Our client in San Fernando, CA is looking for Mechanical Assemblers to assemble parts per written and verbal work instructions! Responsibilities
· Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, pallet jack, hoist/ crane as required. May be required to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
· Disassemble (tear-down), and clean, according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and/or test codes.
· Responsible for processing paperwork pertaining to the disassembly/Assembly and cleaning of pneumatic and hydraulic valves.
· Use of fixtures, press, vice, grinders, wire wheel, pneumatic/hand tools, etc.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
· Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, practices, procedures, and established company policies.

Requirements:
· Possesses strong mechanical skills, including assembly and disassembly of mechanical parts and pneumatic components.
· Previous experience working with engineering specifications, quality procedures, and lean manufacturing principles.
· Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
· Over 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience or related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Ability to work safely on all tasks related to the job.
· Able to lift 50 pounds.

Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with some overtime including Saturdays.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
