Mechanical Assembler - Urgent Position

Our client is a major manufacturer of medical technology, like microscopes and dental equipment. We are searching for eager Mechanical Assemblers to join our client’s main operation for a big project located in Chatsworth CA.

HOURS: This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Please keep in mind that you may be required to work occasional overtime if needed.

This is a traditional assembly and production position. You will be helping to create and assemble drug testing machines. You will:

• Follow the schematics and instructions given to you.
• Assemble your required materials utilizing various hand tools.
• Send the assembled product to QC for testing.
• Work with QC on any fixes that need to happen.

You may also find yourself working in other departments depending on the need. This could be shipping and receiving, stocking items, and other duties as needed. You will be given cross-training in all departments.

This is what we are looking for in your candidacy:

• You must have experience with hand tools, like hammers, and drills or similar.
• Preferably, you have done mechanical assembly or production work before, either in a warehouse or in manufacturing.
• You can keep up in a fast-paced work environment.
• You are punctual and can arrive on time at the location
• You can work overtime when needed.
• Preferably, you are bilingual in English and Spanish.
• You can work independently, with minimal supervision.
