Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $18/hour
Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Pryor, OK
Job Type: Temp to Hire

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join a growing team in Pryor, OK. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts and subassemblies based on blueprints and production specifications.

Note: All candidates must complete a tape measure and mechanical assessment prior to placement. Please visit a Stand-By Personnel office to complete this step.

Key Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, parts lists, and assembly instructions to prepare work orders.
• Assemble fabricated metal parts into large or heavy subassemblies and final products.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machines for drilling, pressing, and fastening.
• Perform on-line quality inspections and calibrate parts to meet tolerance and product specifications.
• Conduct functional testing of assemblies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Must frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally more.
• Must own or be able to obtain a basic set of hand tools.
• Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred.
