Williams is hiring an experienced Mechanical Controls Installer to install, maintain, and repair mechanical control systems in new construction for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and/or low volt control disciplines and will be capable of working independently or as part of a team.

What You'll Do:
Installation & Maintenance: Execute the installation of control systems , including wiring, routine maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Troubleshooting & Compliance: Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, ensuring compliance with state and national electrical codes and industry standards.
Collaboration & Documentation: Work collaboratively with project teams to interpret construction documents, coordinate with other trades, and maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and modifications.
Safety & Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, conduct quality checks, and ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical or low volt work, with a focus on controls preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schematics, technical documents, and able to properly document events and changes through the project's life.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve control systems issues.
Experience with PLC programming and other control technologies is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
