Relative Dynamics Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team supporting the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD. In this role, the candidate will provide Mechanical Engineering support for the Mars Sample Return project at NASA GSFC.

What You'll Get to Do:
· Provide mechanical design support to the NASA GSFC Mechanical Systems Division on the MSR-CCRS project.

· Perform Mechanical design for fabrication, drawing checking of mechanical part components to ANSI Y14.5

· Design and Test subsystem models including structural, mechanisms and mechanical parts

· Generate Detail drawings in CREO 

· Coordinate activities with a Product Design Lead (PDL)

What You'll Need:
· 3+ of relevant work experience in mechanical design and drawing checking

· Required: Experience with both Pro-Engineer/Creo CAD software 

· Experience with spaceflight systems, subsystems, components and parts is strongly desired

· Strong CAD skills 

· Experience with Windchill EPDM software

· Ability to work independently on assignments as well as in a team environment

· Work with innovative and highly functional teams
