Job Description - Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team in downtown Roanoke, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC system design and construction documentation, with strong technical and communication skills. Candidates with their Professional Engineer (PE) license are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design HVAC systems using Revit and related design software.
Prepare detailed construction documents.
Perform site visits to verify field conditions.
Coordinate designs with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project accuracy.
Support project teams in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
FE/EIT certification with 2+ years of relevant work experience (preferred but not required).
Experience with Revit for mechanical design.
Knowledge of HVAC system design and construction processes.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
