Mechanical Engineer

International manufacturer of packaging equipment is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design automation, pneumatic and structural components/systems.  

Responsibilities will include:

• Design of mechanical parts and assemblies in SolidWorks 
• 2D drawing drawings for manufacturing 
• Component sizing, specification and selection 
• Enter assemblies and references into document control system 
• Vendor interaction for part sourcing 
• Assembly of prototypes based on the designs created 
• Gathering and documenting all project results and then reporting 
   

Education and Experience : 

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree 
• 3-5+ years experience 
• Proficiency with Solidworks 
• U.S. Citizen or Green card holder
