Mechanical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Support pre-construction engineering and design efforts.
Assist project managers overseeing awarded construction projects.
Coordinate Government acquisition efforts for A/E services and Construction projects.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in managing studies and designs for real property facilities, including MEP utility systems.
Offer engineering support and analysis for awarded study and design contracts.
Conduct site evaluations, field surveys, and code compliance assessments.
Support the Government in developing technical requirements, cost estimates, and schedules for A/E services.
Conduct design technical reviews from concept to 100% design drawings and manage the submittal review process.
Lead and participate in regular project progress meetings and program progress meetings.
Track and manage data submissions from various stakeholders.
Maintain construction administration data for senior leadership review.
Prepare and present project status briefings and technical reports.
Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience
OR 15+ years of experience in the design/construction or operations of specific equipment with a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
U.S. Citizenship required.
