Job Description:

Position Description:

Perform engineering duties for BWP in the design or alteration of machines, sections, systems, units, or parts with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation.

Essential Functions:
Work from design sketches, specifications, and engineering data.
Prepare layouts utilizing SolidWorks and/or Inventor tools.
Evaluate design to verify fit and function as well as practicality and feasibility of manufacturing and make pertinent engineering calculations for materials, ratios, clearances, tolerances, or other factors.
Prepare BOM's, assembly, detailed drawings, pneumatic schematics utilizing CAD tools.
Assist in or design/alter complex machines, sections, systems, or units.
Maintain supplier interface.
Support manufacturing and assembly teams.
Manage and maintain product/project files.
Travel to customer installations as required, occasionally for extended periods.
Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a four-year college or university, and 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
