Your role involves feasibility studies, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology\u0027s packaging.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization including conceptualization, designing, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation.\n * Designs components using variety of metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.\n * Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD\u0026T).\n * Ability to create engineering requirements from marketing requirements to drive product development.\n * Highly proficient in 3D Nx Tool or equivalent\n * Experience in structural, thermal, and fluid delivery systems demonstrated thru theoretical analysis on paper. Must have completed multiple developments of system design that demonstrates working knowledge and use of thermal and structural FEA modeling.\n * Experience in developing system P\u0026ID, defining theory of operation for the hardware being developed, use of key problem solving and decision making tools, performing risk analysis.\n\n\n\n## What you\u0027ll do\n\n * Ability to juggle multiple projects in parallel as required occasionally.\n * Must have extensive hands on experience.\n * Develop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance.\n * Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.\n * Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions can be manufactured with high-quality, cost-optimized, and to requirements.\n * Provide technical guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master\u2019s degree with 10+ years\u2019 experience\n * Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus.\n * Experience in leading projects, or problem solving while managing time and multiple priorities.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $146,000.00 - $311,000.00.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
