Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the team and interface with them to support various projects including but not limited to machine design, mechanical engineering, design for manufacturing, and translation
- Investigate manufacturing issues and improve the manufacturing process
- Research and report on advanced manufacturing techniques in precision machining for molding stamping dies
- Provide input to team and tooling engineers on part designs, design for manufacturing
- Generate power-points, engineering data, and reports on current projects for upper management review
- Work and communicate directly with the shop
- Learn about and leverage prototyping and manufacturing processes used in PCB and SMT.
- Willing to travel occasionally to manufacturing and R&D sites internationally and domestically for training and communication purposes
Education/Certification:- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Associate degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in connector manufacturing is preferred
- College Graduates will be considered
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are required
- Solid mechanical aptitude
