Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plant based)

My client has an immediate need for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with strong Maintenance experience to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing the maintenance activities, assist with capital improvement projects, etc.

NEEDED!

BS - Mechanical Engineering + 4 years of experience in a similar environment OR
AS - Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years experience
Very knowledgeable about rotating equipment (pumps, motors, industrial fans)
Well versed with maintaining and improving CMMS systems
Ability to organize and lead Kaizen events (implement lean manufacturing practices )
Ideal person will comes from a heavy industrial environment (chemical, paper, energy sector)
Very strong hands on maintenance experience is required (knowledgeable about hydraulic systems, piping & pumping systems, etc.)
Ability to provide hands-on support with equipment breakdowns
On call rotation included with this role
