Mechanical Engineer - Hiring Urgently

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold competent knowledge to oversee all mechanical engineering services on projects from start to finish. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.

Education:

Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering

Professional Registration:

Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan or able to obtain

Willing to become registered in other states

Technical Skills:

Must be capable of handling all aspects of mechanical engineering related to the building industry including the following:

HVAC Design

Plumbing Design

Fire Protection Performance Specifications

AutoCAD/Revit Experience

Responsibilities:

Engineer is responsible for all mechanical engineering services on projects from start to finish.

Research and analyze design options.

Preparation and review of HVAC and Plumbing construction documents.

Develop and edit project specifications as required.

Review product shop drawings/submittals related to the HVAC and Plumbing design.

Review and respond to requests of information (RFIs).

Must be capable of managing and leading support staff such as drafting and mechanical designers.

Ability to communicate with clients, project owners and contractors in a professional manner is a must.

Will be required to establish budgets, develop engineering services proposals and maintain/develop client relationships.
