Mechanical Engineer III

Role Responsibilities:\n\n * Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision \n\n * Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering test reports \n\n * Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications of difficult scope \n\n * Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision \n\n * Technically lead or execute projects; develop key suppliers and generate mechanical product specifications \n\n * Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes; enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies; establish standards across all operational processes \n\n * Specify and review engineering documentation \n\n * Implement concepts for a variety of complex product issues and mechanical solutions \n\n * Clearly communicate complex or sensitive information; build consensus\n\n\n\n\n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree\n\n * 4-7 years of experience\n\n * Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD\u0026T, flow analysis and/or \u2022 Design for Excellence principle\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Knowledge of the Applied Materials product life cycle, including prototyping, packaging, material selection and manufacturing methods \n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n4 - 7 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$124,000.00 - $171,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
