Are you a recent Engineering graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a mechanically inclined individual to build hydraulic and mechanical systems, troubleshoot problems, and turn engineering concepts into working assemblies. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, reading schematics, and solving mechanical problems. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and manufacturing personnel to establish a pathway for future growth within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble mechanical systems and components, using blueprints and 3D CAD drawings
Install and plumb hydraulic tubing
Perform alignment adjustment and basic functional tests to ensure correct operation of the unit
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly, utilizing your hands-on problem-solving skills
Provide technical assistance to resolve equipment and assembly issues as they arise.
Prepare units for final inspection with visual checks in a qualified quality verification process
Interface with Engineering for design-related questions or improvements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Solidworks
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, bills of material, and CAD file drawings
Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, strong analytical and evaluative skills to troubleshoot issues
Ability to use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools to complete assembly tasks
Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand 95% of the time. Other physical demands include lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70lbs., as well as walking, twisting, reaching, and bending
Possesses good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to technically communicate and execute concepts and ideas with cross functional team

Hourly range: $23.80 - 32.30 depending on experience
