Position: Simulated Research Reviewer (MechE & Mat-Sci)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$90/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: ~3 weeks
Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate simulated-research environments built around a seed. Review input data and 3+ agent trajectories for each environment.
• Summarize agent actions, answer paths, and scientific reasoning used in Trajectory Summarization.
• Rate problem realism and scientific skill requirement in Problem Quality.
• Assess context sufficiency, experiment utility, and scoring metric reasonableness in Construction Quality.
• Evaluate prompt diversity within the environment in Question Diversity.
• Suggest alternative task formulations for the same simulator in Alternative Framing.
• Work independently and asynchronously with flexible hours to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with computational simulation, experimental design, or scientific computing.
• Ability to provide clear, structured technical feedback.
• Strong command of core principles in your specialty area.
