Compensation:
Mechanical Engineering Intern (Rep.) (TA): $64,608 - $68,034
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will provide support for C&D projects within the Work Car Engineering group. They will be tasked to support contractors rail vehicles inspection, testing and approval for C&D projects and ensuring availability of NYCT Work Trains to support C&D projects. The incumbent will review technical documents, schematics, and technical drawings to support in analysis, testing, and troubleshooting. They may prepare or supervise the development and or review the mechanical engineering aspects of the basic design plan or major projects.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics from an accredited
college or university. A degree in any other engineering area or in engineering technology is not acceptable.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
