Mechanical Maintenance Technician in USA - CC

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and upkeep of a wide range of production support and facilities equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our manufacturing processes.

JOB DUTIES: 1. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on various production support and facility equipment, including but not limited to air compressors, fire extinguisher and sprinkler systems, forklifts, lifting equipment, HVAC systems, cardboard balers, trash compactors, conveyors, sorter systems, plastic wrapping machines, cardboard box makers, pallet jacks, dock levelers, and locks. 2. Conducts unscheduled repairs and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production levels. 3. Diagnoses mechanical problems using a variety of tools and techniques, including visual inspection, testing equipment, and computerized diagnostic systems. 4. Performs maintenance and repairs on machine controls, including PLC controllers, vacuum systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems. 5. Collaborates with other maintenance technicians and engineers to identify and implement improvements to equipment performance and reliability. 6. Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs. 7. Maintain proper lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety protocols 8. Follows established safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. 9. Stays up to date with advances in maintenance techniques, technologies, and regulations through continuous learning and professional development. 10. Works closely with production, facilities, and other teams to ensure the seamless integration of maintenance activities. 11. Provides regular status updates and reports on the condition of equipment and any ongoing or upcoming maintenance projects. 12. Coordinates with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services as required. 13. Performs other duties as assigned

• JOB TYPE: Full Time
• WAGE PER HOUR: $30 to $34 negotiable based on experience and knowledge
• HOURS PER WEEK: 40+ Sometimes we run a B shift.
• OVER TIME: 10-30 hours if there are open projects that need it
• WORKWEEK: Monday – Friday (Saturdays if needed) 7am – 3:30pm
• PAYMENT DAYS: Bi-Weekly -Fridays
• PAYMENT TYPE: Direct Deposit or live Check
• BREAK TIMES: (1) ½ Lunch

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong electronic knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of production support and facilities equipment. • Solid understanding of preventive electronic maintenance practices and the ability to perform scheduled maintenance tasks efficiently. • Good knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with company policies and procedures. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and vendors. • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling, for extended periods. • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
