Mechanical Millwright/Environment Water Authority Work

Conewago is currently accepting applications for a Industrial Mechanic with at least 5-10 years' experience. Applicant should have working knowledge with install, replace, and repair of a wide variety of equipment primarily associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities.  To be successful as an industrial mechanic, you should have a passion for understanding how things work and have sharp senses that help you locate minor faults quickly. 

Industrial Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and installing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


• Locating problems through close observation of machinery operation.


• Controlling downtime by communicating with operators and implementing contingency measures.


• Ensuring all procedures and processes adhere to health and safety regulations.


• Assisting with training of all new hires.

Industrial Mechanic Requirements:

• Great mechanical and electrical aptitude.


• Critical and logical thinking ability.


• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Good physical strength and stamina.


• Ability to remain calm and act responsibly during emergencies.


• Driver's license and willingness to work overtime if necessary.
