Mechanical / Pipeline Superintendent

Essential functions:

1. Effectively supervise every aspect of the construction site including equipment, materials, personnel, and subcontractors.


2. Ability to read plans and specifications.


3. Develop daily/weekly lookahead schedules.


4. Maintain strict compliance with construction schedule and make necessary timely adjustments to ensure deadlines are met.


5. Track and manage project changed and field productivity.


6. Promote and drive safety culture.


7. Communicates with Owners and inspectors.


8. Drive cost-effective measures in the field.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Experience with mechanical piping, valves, sewage and storm drains on public works or municipality projects.


2. Experience working in public streets/roadways preferred.


3. Experience working with union trades a plus.


4. Excellent organizational skills.


5. Strong attention to detail.


6. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.


7. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Travel Requirements:

• 
  This position requires traveling Monday-Friday.


• 
  Some out of southern California traveling required.

Compensation: DOE $65-85/hr.
