Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator

Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator position in CA

We are currently looking for a Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator to fill an immediate opening. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical estimating.

Responsibilities for the Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator 

• Build Conceptual, Design-Build and Plan-Spec Estimates for Mid- to Large- Commercial Mechanical Projects


• Assist Project Managers with Change-Order Estimates


• Work with Suppliers and Vendors for accurate and best pricing for Estimates


• Communicate with Senior Management and Collogues on current and upcoming Projects


• Identify potential errors and look for value engineering opportunities 

Requirements for the Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping, HVAC) Estimator 

• 5+ years of Mechanical Estimating experience


• Knowledge of State Building Codes 

Preferred:

• Prior field experience


• Bachelors Degree


• Local (willing to consider non-local candidates as well)


• Knowledge of Estimating Software: Quickpen (preferred), Quote Soft, Quote Express, Fast Duct, Fast Pipe, Viewpoint, Maxwell, MS Excel, MS Project, BlueBeam
