Mechanical Repair Technician - Collaborative Environment

Job Description:

Seeking a Mechanical Field Technician to provide on-site technical support at a dedicated customer location. Technicians will focus solely on one customer and won't be required to travel.

Position Purpose: Provide hands-on technical support to fulfill customer requirements, primarily focusing on general maintenance and repairs of various mechanical equipment. This role involves customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and general service tasks using basic hand tools.
• Conduct product demonstrations of basic mechanical equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Must be able to work on feet for extended periods.

Company provides tools; candidates should have protective footwear, gloves, safety goggles, and earplugs.

Eligible for benefits upon conversion to direct hire.

Skills/Experience:

Requirements:

• High School degree (preferred: Associate degree in a technology field)
• Broad knowledge of mechanical hand tools and principles.
• Proficiency in PC applications (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use iPads for various tasks.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical individuals.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Adaptability to change and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good customer service and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to lift and carry specified weights and perform various physical tasks.
