MECHANICSBURG - Automotive Service Technician

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Platinum Mitsubishi Mechanicsburg is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team.  We are a veteran-owned family business serving Central PA's automotive needs.

• 
  A valid State Driver’s License is required for employment.


• ASE certification preferred but not required.


• Licensed for PA State Inspections and Emissions

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN (include but are not limited to):

• Repair brake and steering components


• Perform PA State Inspection and Emissions


• Diagnose and repair electronic systems


• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and cooling systems


• Diagnose, replace or repair transmission systems and components


• Diagnose and repair fuel systems

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN ROLE:

• Willing to complete manufacturer training and certifications


• Self-Motivated with an excellent attitude


• Team Player


• Dependability


• Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment


• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills


• Strong automotive mechanical diagnosis and repair experience
