Med Surg Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med Surg unit
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about ongoing treatment and recovery

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact/multistate RN license valid for practice in Iowa
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter certifications for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse (required upon hire)
• Excellent clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Prior Med Surg experience preferred, but not required
