Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional patient care in a Med Surg unit, prioritizing safety and well-being
• Monitoring, assessing, and documenting patient conditions accurately and efficiently
• Administering medications, treatments, and procedures safely and according to protocol
• Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educating patients and families about treatment plans, recovery goals, and discharge instructions
• Responding effectively to patient emergencies and changes in condition

Required Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Willingness to obtain ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a Med Surg RN
• Previous nursing experience in hospital or acute care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities
