Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Concord, MA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Days, Flexible
Pay: $2499/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for patients with a variety of medical conditions while monitoring cardiac rhythms. The Med Surg/Tele RN will assess, plan, and implement patient care, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective outcomes. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in MA
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
COVID vaccine, recent TB test
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience
