Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with $7500 Bonus

Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)- Travel Position  
Location: Columbus, OH 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 3x12s Nights 
Pay: $2129.40/week  
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including those with a wide range of medical conditions and those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, is proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They must be compassionate and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform and document patient assessments, including vital signs and cardiac rhythm analysis.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.


• Monitor and interpret EKG readings, identifying and responding to changes in cardiac status.


• Manage patient care plans, including wound care, post-operative care, and chronic disease management.


• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.


• Collaborate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications:  

• Active RN license in Ohio.
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.


• COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
