Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Review resident care needs and planned interventions during shift changes and with team members

  
  


• 
  

  Administer medications safely and accurately, offering guidance and oversight to staff as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Stay current on new medications and monitor residents closely for side effects or changes in condition

  
  


• 
  

  Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent or emergency situations, using sound clinical judgment

  
  


• 
  

  Support HHAs/PCAs with direct care, maintaining a positive and professional attitude

  
  


• 
  

  Assist on the floor as needed, ensuring residents receive timely, compassionate care

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the med room and medication cart

  
  


• 
  

  Complete required documentation thoroughly and accurately to ensure regulatory compliance

  
  


• 
  

  Report resident concerns, medication issues, or care changes to the RN Case Manager

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate leadership through active participation in planning and supporting resident care delivery

  
  


• 
  

  Foster respectful and collaborative relationships with team members and residents alike

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Current NYS Med Tech certification

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

  
  


• 
  

  Commitment to person-centered care and teamwork
