Media Production Specialist II

PURPOSE 

The Media Production Specialist II creates and refines high-quality product images and videos for digital and retail channels. This role leads the full production process from studio setup to editing and processing, ensuring visuals meet brand standards and engage target audiences across e-commerce, social media, paid media, marketplaces, and retailers. 

PAY

$26.00 - $29.00/hour 

POSITION ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING KEY RESULTS  

• Perform key job duties while upholding the Company’s Mission and Guiding Principles 
• Set up and operate photography and videography equipment to produce high-quality content 
• Capture accurate product, step-out, and lifestyle photography for multiple platforms 
• Produce, direct, shoot, and edit videos for e-commerce, social media, and paid media, ensuring professional lighting, framing, and sound 
• Process and retouch images for clarity, color accuracy, cropping, resizing, and final file delivery 
• Maintain organized workflows and digital asset management, including accurate file naming and archiving 
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure visuals align with brand standards and campaign objectives 
• Participate in ideation meetings to understand creative objectives and prepare concepts, scripts, and storyboards 
• Manage media requests independently from planning to final delivery 
• Support studio maintenance and assist with equipment upkeep to maintain a professional production environment 
• Continuously explore new techniques, tools, and processes to improve quality and efficiency 
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth and success of iLoveToCreate

TALENT PROFILE 

• 3-5 years of professional experience in creating product-centric photography and videography for digital and retail brands 
• Strong understanding of lighting, framing, and audio recording for digital and retail content 
• Skilled in photo and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) 
• Ability to manage the full production process from concept development to final delivery 
• Familiarity with digital asset management and file organization best practices 
• Creative eye for capturing product images and storytelling through video 
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing and creative 
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests independently 
• Competence with DSLR cameras, digital cinema cameras, lenses, lighting kits, and audio gear 
• Knowledge of set design, styling, and construction to enhance visual storytelling 
• Understanding of file conversion, color correction, retouching, and final formatting 
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and production techniques 
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-capacity environment

• Broncolor Powerpacks and Lights, Alien Bees Mono lights, LED and fluorescent studio lighting 
• Grip equipment, including stands, rigging, dollies, jibs, and light modifiers 
• Mac OS, RAID drives, and external hard drives 
• Intermediate knowledge of Mac and PC operating systems and software 
• Microsoft Office Suite 
• Experience with project management software, such as Workfront 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

• While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach above/ below shoulder level. 
• Occasionally required to lift/carry/push up to 40 lbs, repetitively use both hands/arms/shoulders, forward bending/stooping and light grasping and fine dexterity of both hands. Ability to participate in a team lift for any lifting necessary over 40 lbs.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in photography, videography, film production, digital media, or a related field preferred 
• 3-5 years of professional experience in product-focused photography and videography for digital and retail use 
• Equivalent experience in a professional studio or in-house brand content production will also be considered
