Community Connection Programs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support Louisiana Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Personal Care Attendant (PCA) programs. This role is responsible for full-cycle Medicaid billing, accounts receivable follow-up, and recovery of outstanding revenue across multiple waiver programs.

Pay & Growth Opportunities
Starting pay: $20–22 per hour, based on experience
90-day performance review:
Eligibility for a hybrid work schedule
Eligibility for a pay increase to $23–25 per hour, based on performance
Quarterly performance bonuses available based on:
Improvement in clean claim rates
Reduction in claim denials and recoupments
Progress in historical accounts receivable recovery
What You’ll Do
Submit Medicaid and MCO claims for HCBS PCA services using Medisoft
Verify EVV compliance in AxisCare prior to billing
Ensure accurate service codes, modifiers, units, and authorizations
Review remittance advice (RA/EOBs) and post payments accurately
Investigate denials and complete corrections, re-bills, and appeals
Actively follow up on unpaid claims and manage A/R aging
Assist with cleanup and recovery of historical A/R
Identify denial trends and recurring billing errors
Pause billing when EVV, documentation, or authorizations are incomplete
Collaborate with scheduling, EVV, and care management teams
Participate in billing and operations check-ins

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Experience billing Louisiana Medicaid (HCBS or PCA preferred)
Experience working denials, re-billing, and appeals
Understanding of EVV and authorization-based billing
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple programs and payer requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with historical A/R cleanup
Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs and EPSDT billing
Experience working across multiple billing systems
