Job Description - Medical Assistant

MH7, Medical Housecalls 7 has been delivering mobile medical care to geriatric patients who cannot access primary care because they experience barriers in navigating or access medical care. MH7 has been in the valley for almost 15 years and has expanded from mobile primary care services to mobile psychiatry and mobile podiatry. Our priority is providing excellent customer service, emphasizing that the manner in which we deliver information to the patient is key. MH7, Medical Housecall 7, is looking for the following positions:
*Medical Assistant

MH7's administrative staff and medical assistants do not see patients in person. Instead, you will answer incoming calls inside our Midtown Phoenix office (near Pointe Squaw Peak) from Monday-Friday during normal business hours. This is not a remote position.

Staff may be assigned a specific task or role. For example, medical assistants may assist with medication refills, assist with sending messages to the provider (who is off-site), assist in ordering labs, or assist in referrals to other physicians and vendors all under the guidance of the office manager.

We are looking for people who want to be part of a growing organization. The ideal person(s) will be patient, eager to learn and compassionate. A great attitude is key; we can teach skill but we can not teach attitude.
Requirements:

Reliable not a lot of absences
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
No drama attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
Previous clinical experience is preferred.
Be able to work without being micromanaged.
