MCHC's Dora Street Health Center in Ukiah, California, is seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our team and support our new same-day care services. As a Medical Assistant at MCHC, your work will be at the heart of our patient care experience, where you'll play an essential role in ensuring efficient and high-quality care delivery.

In this position, you'll assist providers with point-of-care testing (POCT), respiratory treatments, EKGs, and other screenings. Your day will begin by scrubbing the charts and facilitating a huddle with our exceptional Care Team, ensuring that we're fully prepared to provide the best care possible for each patient. You'll utilize our electronic health record (EHR) system to accurately read and input vital patient information, a critical part of delivering quality care and supporting the healing process.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Maintain current BLS certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified as a Medical Assistant
• One or more years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
• Bilingual, English/Spanish, fluent
