Medical Assistant

Description

Full-time openings for positions in a multiple provider Urologist Practice for certified trained medical assistants (MAs) with a minimum of 2 years current experience in the medical front or back office for our Danville location. The office is fast-paced and at times stressful requiring a candidate that can diffuse difficult patient interactions with an even keel temperament.

The back office jobs require the ability to:

• Assist with minor office procedures
• Injections
• Vitals and knowledge of medications and medical terminology
• Computer experience with EPIC hands-on vitals & data entry is a must.

The front office jobs require the ability to multi-task while performing:

• Heavy phone calls
• Patient scheduling
• Patient referrals and authorizations
• Checking in-out of patients
• Collections of co-pays
• Chart preparation
• Copying
• Message taking functions
• Knowledge of EPIC hands-on check in & appointment scheduling experience

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Certificate in Medical Assisting
• Reliable transportation

Compensation will be based on experience.

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$21.00-$39.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees). *
