POSITION SUMMARY:
Reports directly to the Director of Medical Services. Responsible for patient care at a behavior health residential and outpatient level treatment facility. Responsible for supporting medical department as needed.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Provides patient care and corresponding documentation.
Coordinates medical care with providers.
Obtains client vitals, and other nursing care within scope of practice, as needed.
Facilitates the Assistance with the Self Administration of Medications.
Manages client prescriptions and medication changes, as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Behavioral Health Residential and Outpatient level treatment facility for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must have reasonable ability to stand, walk, sit, handle, feel, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Must be reasonably capable of lifting 20 pounds.
WORK HOURS:
Position can be Part Time / Full Time, Non-Exempt.
May be required to work holidays, weekends and any shift within a 24-hour day.
Variable hour shifts (typically 12 hour).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have medical background.
At least one-year experience in an equivalent position.
CPR/FA, CPI Training, Fingerprint and TB clearances.
Must possess adequate verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge of EHR software.
