Job Opportunity: Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy Experience

Location: California (various locations detailed below)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Duration: 8 months
Compensation: $23.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement

Payment: Weekly pay via direct deposit

About the Role:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with phlebotomy experience to join our team for an 8-month assignment. If youre an organized, compassionate professional passionate about patient care, this is a great opportunity for hands-on experience across multiple locations in California.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including:

• Taking patient blood pressure measurements
• Performing EKGs
• Drawing blood for medical testing
• Conducting vision tests (onsite training provided)
• Performing X-rays (onsite training provided)
• Managing patient paperwork efficiently
• Ensuring the highest standard of patient care

Requirements:

• Certification: Current certification as a CMA or RMA through an accredited organization (ACA, AMT, AMCA, ASCP, NCCT, NCA, or NHA).
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant preferred (will consider motivated individuals willing to learn onsite).
• Phlebotomy skills with confidence in blood draws and EKGs (or willingness to train quickly).
• Physical and TB test (completed within the past year).
• CPR and First Aid certification (current).
• Criminal Clearance (issued within the past year).
• Strong interpersonal skills to provide a positive patient experience.
• Adaptability to handle patient volume and efficiency in high-pressure environments.
• Passionate about patient care with a team-oriented mindset.

Travel Schedule (First Month's Locations)

This role will require travel to multiple sites throughout southern California (mileage reimbursed). Below is the schedule for the first two months:

• June 2nd June 13th: ECTC, 3325 Temple Ave. Pomona, CA 91766
• June 16th June 27th: FS171, 141 W. Regent St. Inglewood, CA 90301
• Week of July 4th: Off
• July 7th July 18th: FS129, 42110 6th Street West, Lancaster, CA 93534
• July 21st August 1st: FS89, 29575 Canwood St. Agoura Hills, CA 91301
• August 4th August 15th: Northern Section Lifeguard HQ, 30050 CA-1, Malibu, CA 90265
