Medical Assistant

North Fulton ENT, an established hearing healthcare private practice located in Cumming, GA is seeking an energetic and self-motivated Certified Medical Assistant to add to our team. The candidate must be personable with excellent communication and organizational skills. We have been helping patients in our community since 1989 and we are passionate about providing both the best ENT and Audio healthcare technology available and the best patient experience possible

This position is also required to work into the evenings Tuesday – Friday’s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rooming and Triaging Patients for MD


• Take, record, and report patient vital signs using medical equipment.


• Keep rooms stocked with necessary supplies


• Clean and autoclave instruments


• Completing PA’s for patients


• Schedule incoming patient referrals / send out patient referrals following office visits.


• Effectively handle patient calls and inquiries.


• Calling back patients


• Calling in Rx’s


• Perform other duties as required to support the office.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred.


• Completion of Medical Assistant training in an approved program


• Two years clinical experience


• Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• The desire to connect with and serve patients.


• Prior medical/ENT healthcare office experience a plus!


• Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
