Aishling Obstetrics & Gynecology is looking for a Medical Assistant or CNA to join our Plainfield and Yorkville IL offices. We are looking for someone who wants to advance their career in the Obstetrics & Gynecology field.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

o Greets all patients and their guests in friendly, professional manner.

o Rooming patients, taking vitals, going over chief complaints, & taking accurate health history

o Recording all information into our EMR system accurately and efficiently.

o Re-stocking procedure and exam rooms daily and as needed. Stocking inventory when supplies are received.

o Return patient messages, and other patient calls as needed.

o Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

o Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology.

o Experience with taking history and vitals.

o Having a great bedside manner.

o A positive attitude and good communication skills.

o The ability to be organized and keep proper records.

o Ability to problem solve and take initiative.

o Flexibility in work schedule, we do have set hours, but the ability to be flexible if schedule should change is a must.

o Travel is required between the 3 offices, having transportation is required.

o Spanish Speaking a plus

Education:

o High School Diploma or GED

o Medical Assistant Certification

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.75 per hour

We have five practitioners: two board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, Dr. James Hawkins and Dr. Brett Cassidy, one nurse midwife, and two nurse practitioners.
