v  Scheduling patients’ appointments

v  Administer and document Immunizations to all age groups

v  Obtain EKGs, complete point of care testing and sets up spirometry

v  Educates patients per doctor’s instructions.

v  OSHA and HIPPA compliance

v  Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations

v  Cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations

v  Interviews patients to obtain their medical history

v  Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files

v  Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks.

v  Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments

v  Properly disposes of contaminated supplies

v  Assists physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials

v  Handles prescription requests by a return phone call, E-scripts, or fax.

v  Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
